This movie starts off with Cheech's car catching fire after the duo siphons gas into a trash can. Chong also tortures his neighbor by revving his Harley indoors with the exhaust pipe blowing smoke into his yard. Pedro teaches Man Spanish...He tells Man that bendejo (asshole) means real good friend. Man tells Pedro a bag of salt is coke. Man gives Pedro his sister's urine sample to wash it down. Then, Chong goes out with Cheech's visiting cousin while Cheech stays home waiting for his girl, Donna. Chong and his cousin go on an excursion which includes a massage parlor, a police raid, the arrest of the hotel clerk (Pee Wee Herman), the living room of a very rich family, a near-riot at the "Comedy House," and finally into outer space!
Trivia:
• Original Title: High Encounters of the Ultimate Kind.
• There are two versions of this film. The first version features a bag of marijuana. The second has a bag of diamonds. The bag of diamonds is considered a "clean" version that was made for television (it's not available for purchase).
• The song Chong is listening to is a cover of Fu Manchu's Hell On Wheels performed by Steve Lukather of Toto.
• The song Mexican Americans was not released on any C & C album.
• Chong's jacket says "roaches, tc, some are picked, few are chosen".
• Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi showed up while they were shooting this film. Dan Aykroyd directed the scene where Chong was peeing out the window.
